On the surface, Hawai'i seems to be known for endless sand beaches, crystal clear water and reefs. However, if you head "mauka," or toward the mountains, you'll find an 'aina equally as inviting. In our second collaborative print with Oahu based artist Nick Kuchar, several elements synonymous to daily inland culture can be found. Lo'ulu palms sway while kalo (taro) and mai'a (banana) are farmed, with the beauty of Hawai'i's boundless waterfalls cascading in the background.
Nick Kuchar is an Oahu based artist who creates vintage inspired surf and travel art featuring his favorite locations throughout Hawai’i. His creative process takes him around the islands where he looks for inspiration paddling out at surf breaks and going on hikes.
Our peached broadcloth is a durable woven fabric that undergoes a special finishing process. Small fibers on the exterior of the fabric are brushed, creating the peached appearance and soft feel.
